Acira, a lovely cowl knitted with just one Yarnology skein as shown here. Knitted in the round with an easy and very relaxing lace pattern.
The yarn as shown in the cowl cuts down dramatically on time choosing your next yarn and on weaving in ends, which is of course a good thing.
The size is 14” long 22” in diameter, unblocked as shown here.
The pattern is fully written and charted.
The knit kits include:
- 1 Skein of Yarnology, a Yarnz2go exclusive yarn. Each skein is hand wound with 7 portions of 34 yards each in various colors, textures and yarn weights. Ranging from fingering to sport, DK and worsted weights.
- The printed and emailed pattern.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions used:
- US size 7 (4.5 cm) circular needle 16” (40 cm) in length.
- Stitch marker.
- Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 1,75” in width and 0.75” in height per stitch repeat with sport weight yarn.
Techniques used: Knitting the round, lace knitting, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends.
